Our West Ham fans here in the Transfer Tavern are fairly content with things this season now though their new stadium is still taking some flak at the moment.
The move from the Boleyn Ground was always going to be a tumultuous affair and so it has proven with results at home indifferent at best this season.
Here in the Transfer Tavern our landlord does feel that eventually things will work out for the club at their new ground and there certainly is an appreciation at the moment for the way it looks.
That’s because – as per David Gold and Karren Brady on Twitter – the London Stadium has been voted ‘Stadium of the Year’ by five architects.
An impressive thing to win, then, but West Ham fans on Twitter aren’t that bothered by it as you can see for yourself below:
