Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern cannot wait for their side to get going this season as so far they really have stuttered along in the Championship.
The men from Villa Park have been tipped by many as the favourite for the title in the second tier but that doesn’t mean results are a given and that has proven thus so far this year.
Indeed, one point from their first two games is not good enough and now the club faces a big battle tonight against a Reading side that has also not started well this year.
For sure, then, tonight’s game has plenty riding on it already and fans of Villa have been taking to Twitter today to voice their views over how key the result could be.
Here, then, is the best of what has been said:

Do a win

Instead of moaning before we’ve kicked off why not actually support the team? It’s our third game, negativity helps no one

Oh. Great.

Hate to say it but can’t see villa getting anything from this. Reading play great attacking football, everything which villa don’t
