Eden Hazard is one of the hottest properties in European football with many top clubs after his signature. Arsenal, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Barcelona are all rumoured to be interested in the player. However it appears Chelsea are ahead of the pack to sign the Belgian International.
The player currently plays for French Club Lille and is rated at €25M by his employers. Chelsea are the only ones prepared to meet the asking price for the 20 year old as they continue their rebuilding program. With so many of their stars above 30, Hazard is seen as one who not only can replace them but also someone who could be at Chelsea for the foreseeable future given his age.
Hazard has been compared to many of the current top stars in the world such as Ronaldo and Messi to name a few. Known for his creativity, speed, and superb technical ability he is a player full of tricks and very unpredictable. His performances have earned him the award of French Young Player of the Year twice in a row, the first player to do this and the first non French Player to win the award.
The Future is certainly bright for Hazard as Chelsea try to beat fellow teams for his signature. Mainly used as a winger Carlo Ancelotti sees him as a replacement for the aging Florent Malouda.
