Chelsea have already overseen a busy summer of transfer business as Xabi Alonso continues to reshape his squad.
The Blues have sanctioned the departures of Andrey Santos to Manchester United and Marc Cucurella to Real Madrid, while Maxence Lacroix and Morgan Rogers have arrived to strengthen the side.
Experienced duo Danny Welbeck and Jordan Henderson are also expected to complete moves to Stamford Bridge.
Now, another Chelsea player could be heading for the exit after the club reportedly set their valuation.
Chelsea Name Delap Price
According to The i Paper, Chelsea will demand between £35 million and £40 million for striker Liam Delap, who has been described as “brilliant” by former England defender Micah Richards.
The 23-year-old is attracting significant Premier League interest, with Nottingham Forest, Everton and Leeds United all monitoring his situation ahead of the new season.
Forest are understood to be leading the race as they look to provide competition for Chris Wood, while David Moyes is also keen to add Delap to Everton’s attack. Leeds, meanwhile, are admirers but would likely need to raise funds before making a serious move.
Delap joined Chelsea from Ipswich Town last summer after turning down Manchester United, but an injury-hit first campaign saw him score just once in the Premier League.
With Danny Welbeck expected to arrive and Emmanuel Emegha also set to feature prominently under Alonso, Chelsea are prepared to listen to offers should a club meet their asking price.
