Chelsea continued their fine run under Liam Rosenior with a dominant 4-0 triumph over Hull City in the FA Cup fourth round.
Pedro Neto stole the spotlight with a scintillating hat-trick, while Estevão added his name to the scoresheet. Liam Delap also impressed with two assists, providing a rare bright spot in an otherwise frustrating season for the young striker.
Amid the celebrations, attention now turns to the future of another Chelsea talent who has caught eyes across Europe for his “unbelievable” performances in recent seasons.
Jackson to Return to Chelsea
Nicolas Jackson is expected to return to Chelsea this summer after a mixed loan spell at Bayern Munich, according to The Times.
The Bundesliga giants are unlikely to trigger the hefty obligation-to-buy clause in his deal, meaning the Senegal international could be back at Stamford Bridge.
Jackson joined Bayern on a season-long loan last summer for £14.3 million, with a further £56.2 million due if he reached a set number of appearances — around 40 games with at least 45 minutes in each.
So far, he has only made 22 appearances across all competitions, with just seven surpassing the 45-minute mark, partly due to his participation in the Africa Cup of Nations.
Having scored five goals and registered one assist in Germany, Jackson’s impact has been solid but not enough to convince Bayern to make the move permanent.
Chelsea, who signed him from Villarreal in 2023 for around £32 million, will now plan for his reintegration and potentially chart a path for more regular first-team minutes next season.
