Chelsea are expected to oversee a major squad overhaul this summer following the arrival of Xabi Alonso as head coach.
Marc Cucurella has already completed a move to Real Madrid, while Enzo Fernandez is also being tipped to join him at the Bernabéu.
At the same time, the Blues have strengthened with the arrivals of Marco Palestra from Atalanta and Geovany Quenda following his pre-agreed switch from Sporting CP.
Now, another highly-rated youngster could be heading for the Stamford Bridge exit.
Chelsea Prepared to Sell Andrey Santos
According to BBC Sport, Chelsea are open to selling midfielder Andrey Santos this summer if they receive a significant offer.
The 22-year-old Brazil international, who has previously been described as a “beast” by former Brazil star Juninho Pernambucano, remains highly regarded at Stamford Bridge and is not actively being pushed towards the exit.
However, the soaring fees being paid for elite midfielders across Europe have prompted Chelsea to consider their options.
Several clubs are believed to be monitoring Santos, who has registered three goals and five assists in 47 appearances for the Blues since arriving from Vasco da Gama in 2022.
With no European football next season and UEFA financial restrictions still influencing Chelsea’s transfer plans, the club must carefully balance incomings and outgoings.
Interest in Sunderland’s Granit Xhaka and Strasbourg’s Valentin Barco could further reshape the midfield, potentially making Santos one of the biggest names available if the right bid arrives.
