Our Tottenham fans here in the Transfer Tavern have been rather cross so far today and you can certainly understand why with Danny Rose’s comments in mind.
The left-back has been one of the club’s best performers over the last couple of years with him becoming one of the best left-backs in the league and certainly England’s first choice there.
Indeed, he should be gearing up for another title challenge with Spurs ahead of a World Cup next summer but instead he has taken the time to release a load of comments that have certainly ruffled feathers.
Certainly, during his chat with The Sun he said that he wants more money and would be open to leaving the club if he feels he could win more trophies elsewhere.
Indeed, he also wants Spurs to start signing players and, naturally, the reaction on Twitter has been huge.
