A lot of Newcastle fans have been angered by comments said by Andy Gray.
Gray came out on beIN Sports in support of Newcastle owner Mike Ashley, during a time of discontent from fans of The Magpies.
The Glaswegian said that Ashley did a good job in bringing in Rafa Benítez and should be praised for getting Newcastle to a top ten finish last season. He also suggested that Benítez has been given the money that he should need, and that the Spanish manager is deceiving fans.
This did not go down well with fans, many on whom have been hellbent on getting Ashley removed from the club for some time.
Newcastle had a fairly uneventful transfer window, actually being one of two team to come out in profit from the players that they sold. The Magpies have made an average start to the Premier League campaign, losing to Tottenham and drawing to Cardiff.
This is what the fans had to say:
WHY would people who have NEVER been associated with Newcastle repeatedly discuss them on media platforms unless they are being paid by Ashley/Bishop to do so?? They wouldn’t would they?

Any credibility you had as a sports channel (very small amount) has totally gone. Is this all for clicks? Are you that desperate? Get real and get someone on that knows what they are talking about and not some clueless dinosaurs. #nufc
