The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern think that their side is just a few deals away from being perfect…
After a relatively poor start to the season, the Lilywhites have seriously turned their season around over the last few months. Mauricio Pochettino has spearheaded a remarkable run of form at White Hart Lane – with a Premier League title change certainly on the cards.
One particularly vocal Tottenham fan in the Transfer Tavern is touting them to go unbeaten for the rest of the season – as long as a few deals are made over the next few days.
Whilst the majority of the Tottenham faithful’s focus has been on incoming players, a few in the Tavern are calling for a few departures too – and it’s pretty easy to see why. There are a number of players within the Tottenham squad that are simply not good enough, and Pochettino must act.
With that said, this is the transfer business Spurs need to conduct ASAP…
In – Anthony Martial

Anthony Martial is reportedly upset after being left out at the weekend, and Mauricio Pochettino could look to capitalise on that.
Martial’s relationship with Mourinho is reportedly strained, and Pochettino would certainly be able to offer him something that Mourinho currently isn’t – regular game time.
Martial would undoubtedly improve the Tottenham attack, with the trio of Eriksen, Martial and Dele Alli likely able to compete with any other in world football.
He would be a hard signing to land, but he is the sort of player that could take Tottenham to the next level.
Out – Moussa Sissoko

Moussa Sissoko’s signing at the start of the season was lamented by the Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern at the time, and since then – he has done nothing to prove that the decision wasn’t a mistake.
He has looked poor and out of his depth at White Hart Lane, and whilst he has shown spells of good play – he has simply not been consistent enough.
At this point, Mauricio Pochettino should cut his losses on the Frenchman.
Out – Vincent Janssen

Much like Sissoko, Vincent Janssen is a summer signing that Mauricio Pochettino probably wishes he could return.
The Dutchman came to England with a fearsome record – but he has seriously struggled in the Premier League.
Rarely given a starting berth ahead of Harry Kane – Janssen would be wise to move on, and Tottenham would be wise to bring in Anthony Martial to take his place.
