Our Arsenal fans here in the Transfer Tavern are getting very desperate watching their side with the same old problems occurring season in, season out.

The Gunners once again looked like genuine title contenders for large periods this season but have fallen by the way-side once more with their mental toughness being questioned.

It’s certainly seen our resident Gunners tear their hair out with many calling for Arsene Wenger to walk at last whilst others are concerned their best players are going to jump ship.

Certainly, the likes of Alexis Sanchez must be fed up of faltering title challenges and it appears he has plenty of potential suitors with The Mirror reporting that Juventus are the latest big side interested.

It must be surely worrying Arsenal fans all over, then, and our landlord reckons these two reasons point to why the Chilean will be off in the summer…

 They can’t guarantee him the biggest trophies

Sanchez could move to pretty much any massive club in world football and play.

Indeed, if he did move to a Juventus or a club like that he’d almost certainly start winning the amount of trophies his talent deserves. The Chilean is the kind of player that needs to be seriously challenging for the Champions League regularly and Arsenal are in no shape to offer him that at the moment.

 It’s now or never for him

Now 28, Sanchez is now bang in his prime and needs to be playing at the highest level he can.

His performances over the last 18 months have been incredible yet he has nowhere near the amount of silverware he should have. In a few years time he’ll be on the decline and our landlord reckons that he needs to move now to a better placed club in order to challenge before he misses the boat for good.
