The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern are enjoying another impressive opening to the season under Mauricio Pochettino.
Tottenham claimed a 1-0 victory over rock-bottom Crystal Palace at Wembley on Sunday afternoon to stay in touch with runaway leaders Manchester City. Heung Min-Son settled proceedings with only his third goal of the season when he curled a left-footed effort into the bottom corner after 64th minutes. The Wembley hoodoo that haunted Spurs last season has been well and truly put to rest in recent weeks, with three straight Premier League victories and a Champions League win over Madrid to show for their endeavours in the home of English football.
Left-back Danny Rose made his first start in the Premier League since January on Sunday after a serious knee injury left him sidelined for almost 10 months.
In his post-match interview, Rose spoke about the healthy competition for places in the squad and his desire to improve his fitness.

Rose’s return has divided the Tottenham faithful on Twitter.
The England left-back upset plenty of fans with his comments relating to the ambition and the wage structure at the club back in August, and it appears a handful of supporters are happy to see Rose leave the club in January.
However, plenty of Spurs fans on Twitter are delighted with his return to first-team action and believe his presence will be a real asset for the club during the remainder of the season.
Here’s what the fans had to say in response to Rose…

Bye Danny, been a joy, hope you get want you want in Jan. Get training too as fairly shocking yesterday. Unfit or couldn’t be bothered?

So glad to have him back! Still the best left back in the league, just needs his fitness and match sharpness back.

So which Danny Rose is to believed?. The team player toe-ing the #thfc line or the petulant duplicitous toe rag who gobs off to The Sun?
