Arsenal should be excited for the future under Unai Emery as the former PSG man is slowly getting more and more used to the challenge in-front of him.
Having spent reasonably well over the summer, the Gunners look prepared to give a good account of themselves this season, in the Premier League and the Europa League where they reached the semi-final of last season.
The Emirates is a more content and happy place so far and although in transition after waving goodbye to Arsene Wenger after 22 years at the club, the signs are already showing that Unai Emery is a manager who has the tools to take Arsenal to that great status once again.
With the possibility of adding a few more talented players in the January transfer window, Arsenal could be so much better prepared, especially if they signed Borussia Monchengladbach talented defender Nico Elvedi.
Elvedi, (who is valued at £18 million on Transfermarkt) is a player who is game by game starting to perform his immense potential. The 21-year-old Swiss international really showcased his ability last season where he missed just one Bundesliga game.
With great versatility, Elvedi can play left-back, centre-back or even as a right-back which makes buying him an even more desirable option for Arsenal now. Their defence has been a big problem for a number of years now but with a player of Elvedi’s quality and potential, Arsenal could be a lot more solidified.
Elvedi has good pace, a great eye for the game and the ability to get stuck in, he seems to be exactly the player Arsenal have been missing and must buy in January.
