Sergio Aguero has started this season on fire – but the high demands of Pep Guardiola could be the catalyst for an early conclusion to the Argentine’s Man City career.
Aguero has been benched on a number of occasions this season, with Pep Guardiola seemingly asking for more from the Argentine forward – despite the fact that he is the Citizen’s top goalscorer this season.
Whilst there have been no suggestions that the pair have fallen out, per se, the fact that Aguero was dropped for some of Man City’s most important games tells a very interesting story indeed.
The Man City fans in the Tavern have been fearful that he could leave the club – and it would appear that a European giant is smelling blood.
According to the Daily Express, Sergio Aguero is the target of PSG – who are looking to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who recently left the Parisien side for Manchester United.
Aguero is reportedly a key target for the French club, and is on a shortlist that also features the likes of Antoine Griezmann.
Whilst Man City will no doubt be unwilling to sell him easily, PSG certainly have the funds to complete the deal.
Our landlord thinks that if Guardiola can receive a decent fee – he will let Aguero go in a heartbeat.
