Everton are reportedly linked with a move for Napoli’s Allan, but some of the fanbase are divided over how much he is worth and whether the club should invest.
After it was revealed the Brazilian is on Carlo Ancelotti’s radar for summer business, a new report has revealed Napoli are keen to keep hold of Allan and won’t consider selling him for a reduced price. According to Il Mattino (via Bleacher Report), club president Aurelio De Laurentiis is firm on his asking price for the midfielder, which stands at €75m (£65m).
Allan has made 16 Serie A appearances so far this season, registering just one goal and one assist (via Transfermarkt).

Some Everton fans are in debate over the 29-year-old’s price tag and whether it would be a wise investment in bringing him to Goodison Park. The fanbase are split in their opinions – one fan has said Allan is worth the ‘same as [Fabian] Delph only less’ whilst another has argued that supporters must ‘trust in the gaffer’.
Here is a flavour of the replies from Toffees supporters:

If Carlo believes he will make a massive difference you have to back him

£25m – £30m and not a penny more. Probably has two good seasons left in him.
