Everton: Fans discuss Morgan Schneiderlin’s future

Share

Many Everton fans have reacted to a social media post referring to Morgan Schneiderlin’s future at Goodison Park.

The 30-year-old midfielder arrived at Goodison Park back in January 2017 from Manchester United, but he has struggled to find consistent form on Merseyside.

Having struggled to find playing time under former managers Ronald Koeman and Sam Allardyce and an absence in football due to personal reasons, the former Southampton man could be made available for sale this summer as Toffees boss Carlo Ancelotti looks to freshen up his squad for next season.

Everton sit 12th in the Premier League table as things stand after a largely inconsistent season, initially under Marco Silva, and then Ancelotti, who took over in December.

Having made just 15 league appearances this season, Schneiderlin has played a bit part role this term.

The French international has a current deal at Everton until the summer of 2021 and his current value is said to be £8.55m, according to Transfermarkt.

Twitter account @TheGwladysSt hypothetically asked fans whether they would sell the midfielder in the summer, if the offer was just £3m from a Chinese club. It seems that the majority would, here is what some had to say…
