Everton fans have been reacting to the emotional video that stars Andre Gomes reading out letters of support.
The Portuguese midfielder suffered a horrific ankle injury after a challenge from Tottenham’s Son Heung-min during the 1-1 draw against the north London side.

Reactions of the players around him illustrated that something was seriously wrong as he was given oxygen by the paramedics as he left the field of play.
The former Barcelona midfielder made the permanent switch to Goodison Park in the summer after a loan spell on Merseyside from the Catalan giants last season.

Gomes was visibly in tears as he read out each letter one by one, completely overcome with emotion and gratitude for the support shown towards him.
Supporters were emotional watching the footage and made their feelings clear about it on social media.
