The supporters of many clubs can sometimes feel they are underestimated or underrepresented by pundits.
Everton fans have been left feeling this way, after The Gwladys Street tweeted about Charlie Nicholas’ predictions for the Toffees’ games so far this season:
Charlie Nicholas predictions for Everton this season:
Crystal Palace – 2-1 L
Watford – 1-1 D
Villa – 1-1 D
Wolves – 2-1 L
Bournemouth – 2-1 LWins – 0
Draws – 2
Losses – 3
Points – 2For some reason I get the feeling he doesn’t like Everton#EFC pic.twitter.com/Tf1fPwYqcG

If Nicholas had been correct with his calls, Everton would be second from bottom in the Premier League, with two points.
Instead, they sit sixth in the table with seven points, having beaten Watford and Wolverhampton Wanderers, drawn with Crystal Palace and lost to Aston Villa.
Despite being proven wrong already by the men in blue, the former Celtic and Arsenal player has not changed his tune, predicting that Everton will be beaten 2-1 by AFC Bournemouth.
Whether he is correct this time around or not, he certainly isn’t going to be a popular figure among Evertonians if he carries on in this manner.
A selection of Twitter reaction to the predictions, including posts from disbelieving Everton fans, can be seen below:
And we don’t like him

We could put our first team out against a team of U9’s and he would still predict us to lose, just another terrible pundit.

Clearly Charlie Nicolas is like the BBC, I watched motd after we played wolves, what was it 30 seconds on Everton, two or three minutes on Wolves, when will we get the credit we so clearly deserve?

he’s just another lazy pundit who makes it up as he goes along and hopes he’s right when most of the times he’s wrong
