Everton: Fans laud link to Tottenham Hotspur target Leon Bailey

Loads of Everton fans have been lauding a transfer link to Leon Bailey as Sport1 have reported that the Merseyside club as well as Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing him in the summer window.

As per the outlet, the Bayer Leverkusen ace is dreaming of a move to the Premier League, and has recently got himself a new agent.

Englishman Aidy Ward, who also represents Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling and Bayern Munich man Kingsley Coman, is now representing Bailey as well.

However, the Jamaican international is still under contract at Leverkusen until 2023, as the German outfit could demand around 40 million euros for him, which is the equivalent of roughly £36 million.

Bailey would arguably be an upgrade on the current wingers at Goodison Park at the moment, as he averaged more shots, dribbles and crosses in Germany’s highest division in the 2019/20 season than Alex Iwobi, Theo Walcott and Bernard in the Premier League in the last campaign, according to Whoscored.

Being just 22 years of age as well, Bailey still has a lot of potential, with the possible added bonus of beating top-flight rivals Tottenham to his signature.
