Following the UK’s weekly applause to show support for the NHS, Everton have released an official video of Carlo Ancelotti saying his thanks to the key workers.
In the club post, the Italian sends his best from him and the rest of Everton Football Club as the country continues to plod through the enforced lockdown.

English football has been at a standstill now for more than two months, after it was announced in March that the 2019/20 season in all leagues would come to a halt. The most recent shareholders’ meeting revealed the FA and Premier League clubs are aiming to resume the campaign next month after the government gave the green light from 1 June onward but with no fans in stadia (via Daily Mail).
Many Everton fans have responded to Ancelotti’s video and are bursting with pride. Several supporters have applauded their manager, commenting ‘what a man’ and ‘top class’, whilst another has said they miss him.
