Loads of Everton fans were not happy to discover that on-loan winger Yannick Bolasie could return to Goodison Park in the summer.
The DR Congo international has come under waves of criticism during his time at Goodison Park, which has included a serious knee injury that saw him miss 53 games, according to TransferMarkt. The 30-year-old has also bemoaned the Toffees after suggesting that they have played with his career like “lego“.
Bolasie, who moved to Everton for £25m in 2016, will be sent back to Merseyside after it was revealed that Sporting Lisbon cannot afford to sign him permanently, as was reported by Portuguese media outlet A Bola. That said, the club would be interested in signing him on another season-long loan. As a result, these Toffees supporters were not impressed with the news and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that he had abilities that were only good enough for the Championship, while another said that he is “like a bad smell”.
