Plenty of Everton fans have reacted to a ‘class’ gesture from Yerry Mina after the Colombian international sent a supporter’s wife of the same origin a birthday message.
Mina spoke in his native Spanish language which prompted the man to share the clip on his Twitter page. This led to another Toffee discussing his wife with the man as she too is from Colombia.
Mina is enjoying a decent season at the Merseyside club, winning 6.3 of his duels on average in the Premier League, including 2.1 on the ground and 4.2 aerially, according to Sofascore. This is perhaps unsurprising given the 25-year old’s stature, as he is 1.95 metres in height. The central defender also averages 3.6 clearances, 1.5 tackles and one interception per match, managing four clean sheets in the top flight so far this campaign.
These Evertonians reacted to the post on Twitter, with one Blue even labelling the gesture as ‘class’ from Mina:
Well done yerry mina 💙
