Everton: Fans slam Dan Meis as he is no longer involved in new stadium project

Lots of Everton fans have been slamming Dan Meis as the Liverpool Echo reported that he is no longer involved in the project for the Merseyside club’s new stadium.

As per the outlet, the architect had a plan for a new 52,888-capacity home last summer as part of the Bramley-Moore dock project. However, Meis seems to have turned down the opportunity to help build the stadium, which would replace the Toffees’ current home of Goodison Park.

Given that it would be able to hold more fans than Goodison, and would perhaps be in a more convenient location, it is perhaps understandable as to why some members of the Blues faithful have voiced their frustrations at Meis.

His company MEIS Architects have been behind the designs of the new stadium, but it seems as if he is going to walk away from the project having been so integral in it.
