Lots of Everton fans have been slamming Dan Meis as the Liverpool Echo reported that he is no longer involved in the project for the Merseyside club’s new stadium.

As per the outlet, the architect had a plan for a new 52,888-capacity home last summer as part of the Bramley-Moore dock project. However, Meis seems to have turned down the opportunity to help build the stadium, which would replace the Toffees’ current home of Goodison Park.
Given that it would be able to hold more fans than Goodison, and would perhaps be in a more convenient location, it is perhaps understandable as to why some members of the Blues faithful have voiced their frustrations at Meis.
His company MEIS Architects have been behind the designs of the new stadium, but it seems as if he is going to walk away from the project having been so integral in it.

Different breed you know, proper embarrassing that Meis. Don’t want him associated with the club if he’s tweeting subliminals at us

Completely agree if dan has a problem take it up with the club instead of looking for sympathy on twitter

Starting to see why dan meis was swerved.

Dan Meis is blatantly abit weird being an attention seeker with his cryptic tweets, playing the martyr etc.
Its quite common for architects to have no input of the actual building of there designs.
What was he expecting? A job for life?— Bramley Toffee Apple (@ToffeeDaft) June 24, 2020
