Everton: Fans fume at early FA Cup team news - Everton News

Many Everton fans have been left to fume at some early team news ahead of their FA Cup home tie against Manchester City on Saturday evening.

Speaking in his pre-game press conference ahead of the match against Pep Guardiola’s men, Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Jordan Pickford, Robin Olsen, James Rodriguez, Abdoulaye Doucoure, Jean-Philippe Gbamin and Fabian Delph will all not be able to play any part at Goodison Park for the Merseyside club.

Will Everton win a trophy this season?

It leaves the Toffees a little light in the centre of midfield, while third-choice goalkeeper Joao Virginia will have to be called upon to try and stop what could be a particularly devastating MCFC attack.

Nonetheless, it seems as if a lot of Blues supporters have now given up all hope before the fixture has even started.
