Many Everton fans have been left fuming at a piece of team news ahead of their game versus Manchester United in the Premier League at Old Trafford.
As per a tweet from The Liverpool Echo journalist Phil Kirkbride, Jean-Philippe Gbamin will not make his long-awaited return for the match against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team, and Carlo Ancelotti has said that it is ‘too early to say when he will be back’.

The defensive midfield player has had such a bad time with injuries ever since his move to the Goodison Pak faithful from Mainz, and given that he has only played in a mere two senior matches in all competitions for the Merseyside club, with his last appearance coming in August 2019, it is easy to see as to why several Toffees supporters are becoming increasingly frustrated with his situation.

Everton fan reaction to Gbamin news
These Blues slammed the news that Gbamin will miss the clash against the Red Devils on Twitter and there isn’t even a specific timeline on his return, with one EFC fan describing it as ‘frustrating’:
“I don’t want them to rush Allan back, but Gbamin is becoming silly now. Better just saying he won’t be back at least until next season instead of this false hope. At this point I can’t see him ever playing.”
“Don’t think the club’s being 100% truthful over Gbamin”
“Something fishy going on with Gbamin. Supposedly back training with the team this week and now no timescale when he comes back. Sounds like a setback unfortunately again. Most frustrating as this guy had buckets of ability.”
“‘TOO EARLY’?!? It’s been 18 months!”
“Is this Gbamin fella real??? I think he is a made up player.”
“Phil, I think it’s time to just admit we will never see the guy play”
