According to details from the Liverpool Echo, Russian mobile phone operator Megafon’s logo will be displayed outside Goodison Park and crafted on to the exterior of the stadium as part of a deal the Toffees signed back in July 2019 with USM Holdings – prompting a positive reaction from supporters.
The deal, which saw USM Holdings become the club’s official matchday partner, has resulted in two Megafon fixed lighting signs being developed outside the famous Everton ground which will be in full display for every home game. A photo of the construction, courtesy of social media account The Toffee Blues, was published on Twitter to showcase the developed advertising of their new sponsors – with supporters reacting positively to the news and potentially hinting that the club could benefit off it.
Even despite the signs seemingly just being part of the deal to no extra financial benefit according to the Echo. So, with that in mind, find all of their best comments from Twitter down below.
