Everton: Supporters wish Carlo Ancelotti would play Moise Kean more often

Responding to a post from Everton’s official club account, while wishing a happy birthday to summer signing Moise Kean, a handful of supporters are also hopeful that manager Carlo Ancelotti will start to play his compatriot more often.

Kean, who joined the Toffees last summer in a £29 million deal, has scored just one Premier League goal all season – with that strike finally coming against Newcastle during their 2-2 draw back in late January. The Italian, who has been largely second fiddle to the deadly striking partnership of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison, celebrated his 20th birthday on Friday – with fans flocking to social media and congratulating the 20-year-old on his two-decade anniversary.

Described as ‘exciting’ by TEAMtalk, this could be one of many reasons why Toffees supporters want him to feature more often despite his underwhelming form. During the celebrations, a handful of supporters stated their wish that Kean get a run of games to help improve his sorry goal return – imploring manager Ancelotti to play the youngster on Twitter. Fans are also fond of keeping Kean on the books, with no thoughts of selling him until he has a chance to show his potential. Find all of their best comments down below.
