Everton fans may finally have some January transfer business to get excited about, as rumoured target Everton Soares dropped a big transfer hint on social media.
The Toffees have been linked with a move for Gremio forward Everton this week, with Sky Sports claiming they are one of several Premier League clubs eyeing the youngster. Their report quotes Gremio’s executive director, Klauss Camara, who admitted: “Everton in Everton is a situation that has been coming out more intensely. But there is no proposal put forward.”
However, it would appear that their interest may be further along than first suspected, at least if the player’s Instagram activity is anything to go by, as he liked a club post about Tom Davies, via @TheGwladysSt.

The 23 year-old, valued at £31.5m by Transfermarkt, is primarily a winger, racking up most of his appearances on the left flank, while he has also played on the right and through the middle. He scored 15 times and provided seven assists in 42 appearances for Gremio last season, while also shining for Brazil with three strikes in 14 caps, per Transfermarkt.
Adding another quality young Brazilian talent to play alongside Richarlison could be just what the Toffees need to kick their season into gear, and his cheeky Instagram hint should certainly get fans excited about the rumours over his possible arrival. Either that or he’s just a massive fan of Tom Davies.
