The Celtic fans in the Football Transfer Tavern were delighted with the result last night…

Whilst many were expecting the Scottish giants to get turned over by Borussia Monchengladbach – Celtic far surpassed expectations and managed to hold the German side to an impressive 1-1 draw.

Nobody was expecting Celtic to get much out of the game, but a few stunning performances from the Scottish side’s key men ensured that at least a point would be coming back to Scotland.

Dembele was once again on the scoresheet, as the forward proved once again on the European stage that he is destined for big things – and he will be vital for Celtic this season if they want to progress in the Champions League.

Expectedly, the Celtic fans in the Football Transfer Tavern were absoloutely delighted their team’s performance – though they did feel that they deserved more than a point. Nonetheless, the Hoops are still in with a shot of making it to the next stage; and that has left the punters happy.
