Manchester United supporters are hoping that their side can go one better next season by pipping bitter rivals Manchester City to the Premier League title.
The Red Devils may have a very successful history behind them, but they had very little to show for their efforts in the last campaign.
Indeed, with just a few weeks left until the start of the new campaign, supporters are worried that Jose Mourinho will run out of time in his pursuit of a couple more world-class signings.
Manchester United are going to need all the help they can get to beat a dominant side like Manchester City in the next campaign, as Pep Guardiola is also looking to strengthen.
With that being said, here’s TWO things that could scupper United’s title chances…
Manchester United have been linked with a move for the Mexican World Cup sensation in recent times, after witnessing his magnificent performances this summer.
However, Juventus, Arsenal and Real Madrid are all interested, which could mean that United lose out on signing the Mexican if they don’t get a move on. Indeed, not bringing another exciting attacker to Old Trafford could be bad news for Jose Mourinho, especially if the old questions about United’s style of play come up again.
Manchester United have been linked with a move for Willian for a long period of time now, but Chelsea aren’t too keen on seeing him leaving this summer.
The Red Devils desperately need some attacking firepower and the Brazilian would certainly provide that.
Indeed, United shouldn’t dwell on a deal for the winger too much, as they run the risk of putting all their eggs in one basket without anything to show for it at the start of the season.
