Tottenham Hotspur are bracing for a summer of major changes, regardless of whether they maintain their Premier League status.
If relegated, stars like Cristian Romero, Micky Van de Ven, and Xavi Simons are expected to leave, while staying up would still likely trigger an exodus of fringe players to raise funds for new signings.
One player now appears set to depart, with Turkish giants Fenerbahce moving quickly to secure his services.
Fenerbahce Enter Talks for Bissouma
Fenerbahce have officially opened discussions to sign Tottenham midfielder Yves Bissouma ahead of the 2026–27 season, according to Turkish-Football.
The Mali international, described as “Champions League-level” by former Brighton boss Graham Potter, has attracted attention thanks to his combative style, excellent ball retention, and ability to control the tempo of games.
Fenerbahce see him as a key addition to their midfield rebuild, which also includes the likes of N’Golo Kante and Matteo Guendouzi.
Bissouma, 29, has played a limited role at Spurs this season, featuring in just eight matches. With his contract set to expire at the end of the campaign, he becomes a prime target for clubs seeking quality and experience without paying a transfer fee.
Fenerbahce have already made contact with his representatives to discuss personal terms, signalling their intent to secure the midfielder before other suitors emerge.
The move would offer Bissouma the chance to take on a leading role in a star-studded midfield setup while continuing to compete at a high level, something he has struggled to do regularly at Tottenham this season.
