Fulham will be desperate to secure a future in the Premier League by avoiding the drop in the current campaign.
The Cottagers have certainly displayed moments of brilliance so far this season as their summer splurge appears to be working wonders at this moment in time. And, to make things even better, the London club are looking to secure a player agreement, as according to Sun Sport, Fulham are attempting to tie Ryan Sessegnon down to a new contract.
Ryan Sessegnon currently has two years left on his current deal, but the Cottagers are keen for the youngster to pen a new deal at some point in the near future.
However, it’s understood that they have made little progress in their efforts to do so.
And, with the Premier League’s elite circling and potentially ready to swoop, Sessegnon can bide his time before deciding whether to commit to his boyhood club or not.
THE VERDICT:
Fulham will be desperate to tie Ryan Sessegnon down to a long-term contract having witnessed his rise to stardom in recent years, with a number of big clubs possibly moving for the youngster in the future.
Indeed, it would be huge if the Cottagers can manage to secure an agreement as the teenager has the potential to become one of the best in world football if he’s given the correct guidance.
