Things are not going quite so well for Arsenal and their manager Arsene Wenger, and at the time of writing, were coming off the back off a crushing defeat at Crystal Palace. 

This has left our Gunners fans here in the Tavern in a terrible mood, and some of the arguments we have heard among punters this week have been really feisty to say the least.

Our landlord has been having a good old chat with some of the fans from the Emirates, and they can’t quite put their finger on what is going wrong at the club under their loyal French manager.

However, one thing they all agree on is that there is definitely some underlying problems at the club which need sorting out, and we agree with that notion.

With that in mind, we take a look at TWO burning issues Arsene Wenger needs to resolve at Arsenal ASAP…

The Ozil and Sanchez situation

It’s as if it is a never ending cycle of stories about these two, but Wenger has got to draw a line under the Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez scenario.

It’s a case more or less every day of will they or won’t they in terms of leaving, and Wenger really needs to get this sorted out before the summer.

Both are quality players, but no one player should be bigger than the club, and there is a huge decision to be made in the coming weeks.

Friction among fans

If there is one thing which has dominated the headlines this season above Ozil and Sanchez, it is Arsenal’s fans.

The emergence of the renowned Arsenal Fan TV has caused quite a stir, and plenty of social media videos have been doing the rounds showing numerous arguments between supporters.

This is not something Wenger may be directly able to stop, but by getting his house in order on the field and getting his team playing to the expected level, this can only have a positive impact on the supporters of the Gunners.
