The Englishman has hardly featured this season, with Jose Mourinho often opting to play his other defenders out of position in place of the talented defender.

Now certainly, injury and form issues have played their part. In truth, Shaw isn’t the same that he was before his horrific leg injury, but surely the defender deserves better than he is getting right now?

With just a few Premier League appearances under his belt this season, the defender should certainly be getting more time on the pitch – and it seems that he feels the same way too. The Guardian are reporting that Shaw could look to leave the club at the end of the season if his woes continue, and our landlord thinks that he simply has no other choice.

At Man Utd, Luke Shaw is at serious risk of stagnating.

At 21-years-old, the defender really needs to be playing every single week – and at present, he just isn’t doing that.

As a teenager, everybody looked at Shaw and knew that he could do it at the highest level, and he certainly proved that at Southampton. If he had continued on that trajectory, he would almost certainly be the best defender in the Premier League right now.

If Luke Shaw wants to move to another top English club, this summer might be his best opportunity.

For example, Man City’s defence clearly needs a rebuild, and so there would certainly be an opening for him there. Likewise, Chelsea might be in the market for a left-back, with Marcos Alonso having to carry the burden on his own for much of the season so far.
