Glasgow Rangers and Steven Gerrard will likely be very happy with the way their Premiership campaign has started.
The Gers currently have six points from a possible six, and are yet to concede a goal following victories against Aberdeen and St. Mirren. Not only that, they have already managed to open up a two-point lead over their fierce city rivals Celtic, who are likely be their closest challengers for the title this term.

However, it has been a tumultuous few days for the sport north of the border. Aberdeen players and the Bhoys’ Boli Bolingoli have both broken lockdown and quarantine rules during this current pandemic, and it has now been revealed that Celtic’s two matches against St. Mirren and Aberdeen have now been postponed.
This has led to a tweet from Ewan Murray, which shared what Neil Doncaster, the SPFL chief, recently said – he explained that there is just one free fixture window left in the Scottish schedule. This has attracted the attention of the Gers supporters, and they have taken the opportunity to have a go at Doncaster and the governing body – they have had their problems over the past few months.

Slowly becoming yet another SFA shambles. There needs to be sanctions, forfeits, points deductions… something, anything done about this https://t.co/C8FmGW8pia

Aye but he lies for a living. How can the English league start in mid September and still finish on time for the Euros. He needs to grow a set and dock team points or she will take their ball away.

Four games in one week baby. Welcome to SPORTING INTEGRITY. They have to put forfeit rules in place now or teams can break the rules and destroy the season. 3-0 won against any team who breaks the rules from now.
