Glasgow Rangers were left raging when the Scottish Premiership was called off last month.
For the first time since World War II, the SPFL decided to cancel the top four leagues in response to the COVID-19 crisis. As a result, Celtic were crowned champions, and Hearts were relegated to the Scottish Championship.
Hearts and Partick Thistle have taken legal action against the SPFL and the hearing will take place on July 1 at the Court of Session in Edinburgh (BBC).

Rangers will be looking to close the gap on their arch-rivals, as the Hoops finished the season 13 points clear of Steven Gerrard’s side, and have already made some signings ahead of the summer including Ianis Hagi, Charlie Lindsay and Calvin Bassey.
Gerrard has already been busy ahead of next season by signing Hagi from Genk. After arriving on loan in January, the Romania international impressed before the campaign came to an abrupt halt, as he scored three goals in 12 games for the Light Blues, including a brace against Braga in the Europa League.
Now, the Gers boss has turned his attention to Bongani Zungu as well.
According to GFFN, as relayed by The Daily Record, Rangers have made an approach for the 27-year-old, who has failed to score or provide an assist in Ligue 1 this season.
The South African has struggled with injury throughout his career and has received a below-par WhoScored rating for his performances so far.
Unsurprisingly, given his track record, many RFC fans slammed the “horrendous” transfer link on social media, with one fan tweeting he is an “absolute bottler.”
Scroll through some of the scathing reactions so far…
His is horrendous.

Also read this morning he’s supposed to be prone to crumble under pressure. If that’s even remotely true then he’s exactly what we don’t need imo

Last thing we need is another bottler in a team full of them.
