In one of the more bizarre rumours of the transfer window, it has been claimed that Jack Wilshere played for a Glasgow Rangers XI as a triallist on Wednesday against Plymouth Argyle.
The ‘Gers won the match 3-2, but it is the rumour that Wilshere played for the Glasgow side on the day that appears to be attracting plenty of attention from supporters. The midfielder is in Scotland at the moment as he trains with his current employers West Ham United.

At his best, the £4.32m-valued 28-year-old (as per Transfermarkt) is a talented footballer – he has 34 England caps to his name, and has even received praise from the likes of Xavi in the past – but injuries have been a problem throughout his career.
