Glasgow Rangers have been making a concerted attempt to change the way they release information to the media north of the border.
The Gers have had problems with newspapers such as The Daily Record recently – Club 1872 were forced to lodge an IPSO complaint, which they won, following an inaccurate article on the club – and the Ibrox outfit’s supporters have taken aversion to comments by Keith Jackson and Graham Spiers for example.

There appears to have been a push by fans to get their news from fan blogs and outlets, and it seems the Gers themselves have realised that, giving Four Lads had a Dream and the Heart & Hand podcast the opportunity to cover matches from the press box this coming campaign.

The latter will also be sponsoring a first-team player again this season, with Steven Davis being the chosen one. However, some fans appear to be a little worried that this will curse the £900,000-valued Northern Irishman (as per Transfermarkt) – previous choices, such as Jake Hastie and Lassana Coulibaly have failed to set the world alight.
The Gers fans have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.
