The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern have spent the last few weeks discussing who might join the club this summer…
This season has been a pretty successful one for the Lilywhites, with a steady amount of progress made since last year. Another Premier League title challenge has followed what was a disappointing end to the campaign last year, though it seems likely that Mauricio Pochettino’s side will fall short to Chelsea this year.
Nonetheless, progress is progress – and many are expecting Tottenham to go one further next season.
A few big signings will be needed this summer in order to achieve those goals, though, and if the Sun is to be believed, Tottenham are edging closer to their first major signing. According to the Sun, Crystal Palace ace Wilfried Zaha is looking to secure a move away from the club this summer, with Tottenham leading the race.
Indeed, whilst any deal remains a fair way off, Tottenham are certainly in pole position to land his signature – and the Spurs fans in the Transfer Tavern are delighted.
