Our West Ham fans here in the Transfer Tavern are starting to get nervous now with them only six points above the relegation zone and in poor form.
It’s been a hugely underwhelming year for the club with much of what they are trying back-firing spectacularly to leave them in a pretty bad way.
Indeed, after losing to Hull City at the weekend they are now in a very precarious position and if things do not turn around quickly they could be drawn in further.
Certainly, then, they need players back as soon as possible from injury with the likes of Angelo Ogbonna stricken and having to be a pundit for now instead.
Indeed, the Italian defender posted that he was watching the Arsenal v Manchester City game with Paolo Di Canio yesterday on Twitter and that naturally led to Hammers fans responding.
