It’s been a fantastic couple of days for West Ham fans here in the Tavern, who saw their side pick up a superb home win over Tottenham Hotspur last night!
In a historic night at the Olympic Stadium, the Hammers brought their A game as they put a halt to Spurs’ potential title challenge, who now have to catch Chelsea with just three games left to play.
Our West Ham landlord isn’t at all interested about the fortunes of their London rivals though and he’s happy that a top-ten finish and another positive result is now in the bag.
And he. amongst lots of other West Ham fans last night, was delighted with the performance of one man in particular- the skilful Manuel Lanzini, who was on fire last night for his team.
And as you can imagine, there was plenty of fallout online after the result and there was plenty of praise for Lanzini’s performance…
