Our West Ham fans here in the Transfer Tavern are fairly content with their on pitch performances at the moment but things are still far from settled concerning the London Stadium.
It’s been a topsy turvy season for the Hammers this year with them looking like relegation candidates in the first half of the campaign to now decent contenders for a top ten finish.
Really, though, a top ten finish is the minimum the Hammers should be going for these days with the way their squad is set up to push for Europe.
And that is part of the reason, of course, that the move to the new stadium came about, so the club could push on and compete with the biggest sides in the league.
So far, though, it’s had plenty of teething troubles and despite David Gold’s tweet today on his official Twitter account praising the ground, he’s still had plenty of flak come his way.
