The West Ham United fans in the Transfer Tavern have endured a pretty quiet summer thus far, with only Pablo Zabaleta welcomed through the doors at the London Stadium.
With our east London locals eager to see the club strengthen before another season at their relatively new home in Stratford, the fact that they continue to be linked with big name targets has proved exciting for the resident Irons propping up our bar.
A loan deal for Joe Hart is expected, while a big money move for Stoke City forward Marko Arnautovic has been touted once more, despite some rejected bids. Meanwhile, they reportedly remain keen on a move for everyone’s favourite Mexican forward, Javier Hernandez.
So, it’s fair to say these are fairly promising times for the Hammers. Though not everyone is as happy as you might think.
With that in mind, here’s a look at how Twitter reacted to West Ham’s seemingly busy week.
West Ham stepping it up. Getting Hart and might get Arnautović. Striker needed next of course, or will Ayew play 9?

For a second summer in a row West Ham will massively overpay for an attacker who's exciting but maddeningly inconsistent. #arnautovic

Not fussed about Arnautovic as I think theres better for the money but I'll be absolutely delighted if we Sign Hernandez & Hart this week.
