Our West Ham fans here in the Transfer Tavern have had to had a strong sense of humour this season in a year that really has tried their patience at times.
Indeed, from seeing their stadium cause issues to their club crashing out of the Europa League once again at the qualification stage, the Hammers really have been put through the mill.
Certainly, then, they’ll be glad when it’s all over this campaign but at least they’ve tried to see the funny side of situations when they’ve got the chance – often at the expense of those that have been in charge of the club.
Indeed, the likes of David Gold and David Sullivan have come in for criticism this season and, after taking part in West Ham’s #CORNERED challenge on the club’s official Twitter account, it was Gold who once again came in for some jibes.
