With that said, if Pochettino was to be sacked, these THREE would be perfect replacements for Spurs…
Eddie Howe
Eddie Howe is a favourite amongst the Tottenham fans in the Tavern, given his relative youth and the way that he has expertly managed Bournemouth.
He has overseen a huge rise from the South Coast side, and managed to lead them to Premier League safety last season.
A big job is inevitable for the young manager, with the Arsenal fans in the Tavern desperate to get him on board – but Tottenham could look to beat their London rivals.
He prefers a quick pass-and-move style of football, and that is absolutely perfect for Tottenham
Diego Simeone
Diego Simeone is the exact opposite to Eddie Howe, but would still be a fantastic appointment.
Known for his aggression and commitment, he would certainly be a change from Pochettino; but he could be a welcome one.
Pochettino has done well to get Spurs to this point, but Simeone could be the man to take them to the next level.
He could also be available at the end of the season – which could prove vital in any prospective deal.
Guus Hiddink
Guss Hiddink is not a popular option, but he could be a perfect short-term replacement for the Lilywhites.
Hiddink has had a couple of spells in the Premier League, and he would bring a calming approach to White Hart Lane, which may be necessary after the furor of a Pochettino departure.
He would, as mentioned, likely be a short-term option – but he could steady the ship for a year or two whilst Tottenham await for more viable options to appear.
He was very good when in charge of Chelsea, so he could replicate that form.
