Spurs are probably the closest competition Chelsea have in the Premier League when it comes to winning the title, and their fans here in the Tavern are hoping their side can push them all the way to the end of the season!
In what’s been another season of domestic progression under the impressive Mauricio Pochettino, Spurs have shone at times and look a step closer to being where they need to be to really break into the ‘top-four’ in England.
There’s arguably no better time for them to do that either, with Arsenal on the ropes and City and United both struggling to get to their best.
Punters here in the pub think Spurs have got a seriously strong squad that should probably be challenging for silverware moving forward and in honesty, they’re probably right.
But still, there’s a couple of players our most devout Spurs drinkers think aren’t good enough for this side and who shouldn’t be getting anywhere near the starting XI anytime soon.
So with that in mind, here’s TWO Spurs players that aren’t getting anywhere near the Spurs first-team under Pochettino…
Kevin N’Koudou

It’s been a tough old season for French winger Kevin N’Koudou, who has managed just a handful of appearances having made the move to White Hart Lane that summer.
There’s some Spurs fans here in the Tavern that don’t think they’ve seen enough of the former Marseille man to make a verdict on his future, but the fact of the matter is that if he was good enough, he would have played.
He’s a player that obviously hasn’t got enough to displace the likes of Eriksen, Son and Alli in the first-team at the moment.
Michel Vorm

With players like Hugo Lloris as club captain and mainstay first-team regulars, you’ve got to feel a little sorry for the likes of Michel Vorm, who are always going to be club benchwarmers.
Spurs fans in the tavern know a back-up keeper is always needed but in French international Lloris, they have one of the best shot-stoppers in the game.
Vorm, sadly, isn’t going to get anywhere near the Spurs team anytime soon unless there is a major injury or loss of form to Lloris, but that seems unlikely.
