The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern are feeling more and more let down by their club as Spurs prepare to open their new stadium for the start of next season. Ahead of the opening of the new ground, the club has been providing Twitter updates on season tickets for next season with fans becoming increasingly frustrated with the pricing system in place. Although the latest update on the Spurs website has further frustrated fans.

On the pitch, Tottenham Hotspur have become a powerhouse over the last couple of years under Mauricio Pochettino. On Saturday the club overcame Swansea at the Liberty Stadium to propel themselves into their second FA Cup semi-final in two years, the first time they’d reached the last four of the competition in back-to-back seasons for 36 years. The Lilywhites have made Wembley a fortress this season as they canter towards a top-four finish, ensuring the club are playing Champions League football in their first campaign at their new home.
Things on the pitch might be rosy for the Tottenham fans propping our bar up at the moment, but off the pitch, there’s a growing sense of anger among the Lilywhites. A number of fans who have been renewing their season tickets for a number of years at White Hart Lane and now Wembley have been priced out of seeing their beloved Tottenham Hotspur as they transition into life at their new home. The prices have been bumped up as a result of the costs of the new stadium, leaving a number of the Spurs faithful being left to watch games on TV.
