West Ham United attacker Andriy Yarmolenko has been on international duty with Ukraine and he has impressed many Hammers fans who have been reacting to his performance as he helped his country beat Spain 1-0.
The Hammers tweeted that the winger captained Ukraine in the victory and also supplied the assist for the winner. Sky Sports also showed the goal on Twitter and this has seen a very positive reaction from much of the Irons’ fan base.

Yarmolenko has played 38 times for the east London side, scoring nine goals and registering five assists, per Transfermarkt. However, he has missed 45 games due to various injuries, preventing him from becoming a true stalwart at London Stadium thus far.

Missing more games than he has played is definitely a concern, but following his good performance last night, he may have boosted his chances of establishing himself in David Moyes’ first-choice line-up.
