It makes sense for Wilshere to leave Arsenal permanently, here’s 2 reasons why

One of the big talking points here in the Transfer Tavern at the moment is concerning the future of Jack Wilshere.

The England midfielder is, of course, currently on loan at Bournemouth and is enjoying a good season but many here by the bar are wondering whether or not he’ll go back to Arsenal.

He’s endured a pretty miserable Gunners career thanks to injuries and with the likes of Manchester City and Everton being linked with him, his Emirates days could be all but up.

It’s an interesting one for sure given he’s been such an ardent Arsenal supporter during his time at the club but our landlord feels sometimes that needs to come second for the good of a career.

Here, then, are two reasons why he should leave Arsenal permanently according to our main man behind the bar…

His injury record there

There seems to be something at Arsenal that causes him to have more injuries than normal.

Though it sounds far-fetched could there be something with the way the Gunners look after their players that is wrong? Certainly, Wilshere is in the best form and fitness of his career down at Bournemouth and that escape from Arsenal seems to have done the trick. He almost can’t afford to go back.

He needs to be a star somewhere

You get the feeling with Wilshere that he needs to be the main man to get the best out of him.

He’s certainly the star of the Bournemouth show at the moment and that is being reflected by a number of good performances. At Arsenal, though, he’s not going to be the shining light for as long as Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil are around so he should consider that ahead of his next move.
