It’s time for Mourinho to drop these 2 Man United players

The Man Utd fans in the Football Transfer Tavern have not been happy with their side’s recent performances…

Jose Mourinho was supposed to come in and transform the Red Devils, but if anything – they have regressed.

They currently sit 6th in the Premier League, and considering the fact that many of the Man Utd fans in the Tavern were hoping for a title challenge this season – it has been a very poor campaign so far.

Early disappointment fell upon the shoulders of Mourinho, with mainly claiming that the Portuguese boss had lost his magic touch – but now the Red Devils in the Tavern have turned their attention to a few of the Man Utd players.

They think that the buck needs to stop with Man Utd’s highly-paid under-performing stars – and Mourinho simply must drop those that aren’t good enough.

With that said, it’s time for Mourinho to drop these 2 Man United players

 Marouane Fellaini

Marouane Fellaini hasn’t been a starter for much of the season, but his performance against Everton proved that he deserves to be nowhere near the Man Utd first team.

He came on with the task of securing up the Man Utd defence, but in reality – he just gave away a penalty. If he can’t even do the simple task that he was given for 10 minutes – what does can he do?

At the moment, he doesn’t provide anything for Mourinho going forward or defensively – and it is time to simply remove him from the first team picture.

 Paul Pogba

Paul Pogba has been okay since his arrival – but he has not been good enough when compared to the vast sums that Man Utd spent in order to acquire him.

For a player that joined for a world-record fee, you would expect something more than a few ‘okay’ performances. He was expected to come in and transform the midfield – but if anything, he is making it worse.

He doesn’t know where he’s playing, he is poor both offensively and defensively – and he is quickly becoming a drain on resources.

A short spell on the sidelines in favour of a player like Michael Carrick could help both parties, as a Pogba in-form could be devastating.
