It’s time for Pochettino to loan out these 2 Spurs players in January

The Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern were delighted to see their side return to winning ways against Swansea City at last, though realise the Swans were terrible.

It seems as if everything that made Spurs such an exciting prospect to watch last season has left the playing ranks in a rather odd stagnant state, such is the nature of their season so far.

Also, for a side who prided themselves on smart work in the transfer market under Mauricio Pochettino, the White Hart Lane club have made some bizarre signings of late.

The likes of Moussa Sissoko and Vincent Janssen have failed to perform as expected and many of our north London locals are hoping Poch wields his axe in January.

Part of what made those from Hotspur Way such an exciting prospect last term was their finely balanced team spirit, one that almost drove them to a Premier League title.

With all things considered, here are TWO players Pochettino really should loan out in January.

Kevin Wimmer

The emergence of Cameron Carter-Vickers and the presence of Eric Dier sees Kevin Wimmer forced even further down the pecking order at White Hart Lane.

There’s nothing distinctly wrong with the Austrian, who has been linked with Southampton, though more the strength in depth available to Pochettino.

Tom Carroll

Used as an impact sub at points last season, Tom Carroll is another to have been pushed down the pecking order at White Hart Lane.

Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko provide extra competition and the playmaker could be one to follow the likes of Alex Pritchard before him out the door.
